This window allows the user to update a part.  By clicking on clone, a new window till open.  (See the screenshot below)

**Active** This box is checked if the part is active; can be edited in this screen.

**Part Name** This column displays the name of the part; cannot be edited in this screen.

**Open** By clicking this, the user is able to open the part. See [[pricing_ch_04-parts]].

**Clone** By clicking this, the user is able to clone the part. See [[pricing_ch_04-parts]].

**Part Category** This column displays the part category; cannot be edited in this screen.

**Last Modified Date** This column displays the date that the part was last modified; automatically updates when you save changes.

**Fixed Cost** If this check box is checked, the part has a fixed cost.  If the box is not checked, there is no fixed cost for the part; cannot be edited in this screen.

**Unit Cost** This column displays the cost for one unit of the part; can be edited in this screen.

**Units** This column displays the unit that the part's cost is in; cannot be edited in this screen. 

**PART UDF** This column is an example of a UDF that can be edited on this screen. All Part UDF's will be displayed, and several can be quickly edited, instead of one part at a time.
