====== Importing Data ======



There are two types of imports supported by Cyrious Control:
  * [[text_based_importing]] is used to import comma or tab delimited information.
  * [[xml_based_importing]] is used to import product and other data that was exported by Control in its native format.
  * [[control-to-customer_imports]] is used to import customer data from one Control database to another.  The new Control database must be completely free of customers.



====== Auto-Import Feature ======



Control (actually the SSLIP) has a mechanism to automatically import a file when it is placed in a specific folder location. See [[auto-import_data_feature]] for more information on this technique.
