Whereas the Contact Activity type and Contact Activity SubTypes help in classifying the type of activity made, the Activity Result is used to classify the success or failure of the activity. While this feature has existed since the first version of Control, evidence indicates that only few users are using it to its fullest.

The contact result screen is brought up whenever a Contact Activity is Completed. This can be done from the right-click menu for the Contact Activity or by clicking on the Complete button on the Contact Activity window.

Using the standard Contact Activity Analysis Report provides meaningful information useful by almost all businesses. Due to the large variance in sales management styles, however, it may be necessary or desireable to customize the reporting for your particular operation.
