Orders, Estimates and Service Tickets

Select 'Edit' at the right side of the screen. Select 'Save' to keep your choices.

This selection specifies your default settings for the Control program. You are able to specify your settings by selecting from a list of check boxes, selection boxes, and spin boxes.

Default transaction type for quick products: . This option allows you to set a default transaction type for quick products.

First Custom Recurrence Type Name: [ text entry ] - Use this option to specify a name for the first custom recurrence of recurring orders

Second Custom Recurrence Type Name: [ text entry ] - Use this option to specify a name for the second custom recurrence of recurring orders

Save Detail Records:

Warning: Including child products may increase the time to save orders or estimates.

Reset Values: If this button is clicked, it will reset all your current selections to your default selections.

Order Options

Select Edit Button on the right side of the screen to specify your default Order Options.

Select Save when you have completed the form.

Finance Charges Names:

When Status is WIP: [ text in-put field ]. This text entry field allows you to give finance charges a certain name when the orders status is WIP.

When Status is Built: [ text in-put field ]. This text entry field allows you to give finance charges a certain name when the orders status is Built.

When Status is Sale: [ text in-put field ]. This text entry field allows you to give finance charges a certain name when the orders status is Sale.

Reset Values: If this button is clicked, it will reset all your current selections to your default selections.

Estimate Options

Cancelled Reasons

This screen can hold a list of possible reasons why an estimate was cancelled.

This screen can hold a list of possible reasons why an estimate was rejected.

Line Item Options

Select 'Edit' to define your options. Then 'Save' when you have completed your choices.

Check which Columns to show on Transaction Item List:

Click the 'Add Variable Columns' Button

Select the '+Add Variable Column' Button. Make selections by checking the box next to the variable you wish to add. Then 'Save' when you have completed your choices.

By clicking the 'Add Variable Choices' button, the entire list of line item variables appears. Each line item has a check box. As you check these boxes, the choice appears in the right column and becomes part of the default line item list.

Rounding

Round line item prices at:

Base Price - If this option is selected, the total of line item prices will be rounded

Unit Price - If this option is selected, the unit price of line items will be rounded

Digits after the decimal to round to: . With this option, you can set the number of digits after the decimal that the rounded line item price will have.

Priorities

Select 'Edit' to define your options. Then 'Save' when you have completed your choices

Priority Name: [ text entry ]. This box shows the name of the priority that you have highlighted on the left of the screen.

Priority Level: . This scroll box allows you to set the priority level of the current priority; the higher the number, the higher the priority.

Explorer Color:

Font Color: . This option allows you to choose the font color for your explorer.

Invoice/Estimate Notes

Select Edit to edit existing notes, or New to add notes

- This option allows you to create templates for invoice and/or estimate notes. In this screenshot, the note template is named “Customer Estimate Pickup”, which is shown in the first text entry field.

- Underneath the name of the template, you are able to create the template. This template reads “The Customer will Pick-up estimate number: , upon completion.”

- The > symbols indicate a merge field. The merge field from above - - will become the salespersons name when this template is used. For example, if the salesperson was John Smith, the entire invoice/estimate note would read –

The Customer will Pick-up estimate number 12345, upon completion. John Smith

Internal Production Notes

Select 'Edit' to define your options. Then 'Save' when you have completed your choices

- This option allows you to create templates for internal production notes. In this screenshot, the note template is named “Call before Install”, which is shown in the first text entry field.

- Underneath the name of the template, you are able to create the template. This template reads “Call customer at least 24 hours before installation to coordinate with them.”

- The > symbols indicate a merge field. The merge field from above - - will become the salespersons name when this template is used. For example, if the salesperson was John Smith, the entire production note would read –

Call customer at least 24 hours before installation to coordinate with them. John Smith

Estimate Greetings

Select 'Edit' to define your options. Then 'Save' when you have completed your choices

- This option allows you to create templates for Estimate Greetings. In this screenshot, the Estimate Greetings template is named “Appreciation”, which is shown in the first text entry field.

- Underneath the name of the template, you are able to create the template. This template reads “Dear . We appreciate the opportunity to provide this quotation to you. We hope this meets your approval and look forward to serving you in the future. Thanks, ”.

- The > symbols indicate a merge field. The merge field from above - - will become the proper name for the contact being contacted. For example, if the contact was Jane Doe and the salesperson was John Smith, the entire Estimate greeting would read –

Dear Jane Doe,

We appreciate the opportunity to provide this quotation to you. We hope this meets your approval and look forward to serving you in the future.

Thanks,

John Smith

- Show Inactive. If this option is selected, all Estimate Greeting will appear in this list, whether they are active or inactive. If this option is not selected, only the active Estimate Greetings will be shown.
